A Knee Problem is troubling me, I was sitting on a beach chair?
and when I got up I did not feel any pain or problem at all. I then traveled 2.5 hours to a red sox game and felt nothing wrong, came home and went to bed. Getting up for some water later I was thinking that My knee felt swollen and lo and behold it was! I have had a meniscus surgery on this knee before. The knee remained swollen to some extent until I was able to see my specialist, he thought that we should give it some time and see what happens. I felt a tightness on the top part of my calf muscle {like a rock tight} and the swelling remained but was not as prounounced. After two weeks I went back for a cortisone shot and it seems that I still have a bit of fluid on the outside top of the knee. I have no pain at all and my knee is strong but I do not feel comfortable bending it with any weight on it. Bending is very important to me as I have had a ruptured disk previously and must lift with my legs. I work as a chef and my time on my feet is considerable. Any ideas??

Go see a doctor!!! If he's not helping, get a second opinion!!!
